Cape Barren Wines is a five star rated winery (James Halliday), producing wines from unique terroirs favourable to the production of the highest quality wines. The reds are all from dry grown old vineyards in McLaren Vale, ranging in age from 40 years to over 120 years old. The Whites are from our vineyard near Lobethal in the Adelaide Hills sited at over 400m and in one of the coldest regions of the Hills. The wines have won wide acclaim through Asia and Australia winning a string of awards.
